About the Role
Phase2 is seeking a Project Manager to own complex digital engagements and lead trusted, senior-level client relationships. Project managers often focus on the triple constraint of scope, time, and cost, but Phase2 is seeking a different breed of PM who can think beyond constraints. Project Managers at Phase2 create a unique, engaging, and impactful client experience with long-term outcomes. They bring a future-focused perspective, anticipate client needs, and ensure decisions and direction align with what will drive meaningful progress and outcomes. They bring clarity to ambiguity, guide clients through key decisions, and keep work moving forward, ensuring clients feel confident, supported, and satisfied.

Compensation: Base annual salary of $125,000 - $145,000
What You’ll Do
- Own multi-workstream engagements end-to-end, ensuring delivery stays aligned with client goals, expected outcomes, and organizational standards.
- Set direction by translating client objectives into structured plans, decision frameworks, and actionable priorities.
- Drive outcomes and client value with an emphasis on rapid time to value, using practical delivery discipline and AI-enabled approaches to accelerate insight, execution, and impact.
- Lead the client relationship with confidence and clarity, ensuring expectations are understood, risks and mitigations are discussed early, and decisions continue moving forward.
- Direct cross-functional teams by establishing clear and outcome-aligned workflows, communication patterns, and accountability across all contributors.
- Take ownership of engagement financials, including scope, forecasting, staffing, and margin performance, adjusting plans as conditions shift.
- Own and evolve the engagement roadmap and delivery approach ensuring work is sequenced to drive momentum, demonstrate value early, and unlock what’s next.
- Embed AI tools into engagement workflows to strengthen planning, insight generation, communication, and decision support—setting expectations for how teams use AI to improve clarity, efficiency, and quality of work.
- Provide grounded recommendations that help clients evaluate tradeoffs, understand implications, and make informed decisions.
- Identify risks early, lead mitigation efforts, and ensure issues are resolved with clarity and speed.
- Recognize and shape opportunities that arise naturally from delivery insight, client context, or emerging needs.
- Support the creation of proposals, estimates, and scopes that reflect realistic delivery plans and forward-looking client priorities.
What You’ll Need
- Significant experience owning complex digital engagements and leading senior client relationships.
- A strong instinct for bringing order to complexity—setting direction, aligning teams, and maintaining steady progress across multiple workstreams.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and constructively, balancing constraints across scope, budget, timelines, and team capacity without compromising outcomes.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to lead client discussions, present recommendations, and guide decisions.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, product development lifecycles, and modern delivery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to embed AI in daily workflows and deliverables—using it to accelerate analysis, sharpen communication, synthesize information, and elevate the overall quality of engagement leadership.
- Experience guiding teams in responsible, effective AI use, ensuring it enhances outcomes, improves speed and structure, and supports stronger decision-making.
- A track record of identifying meaningful opportunities rooted in client strategy, delivery insight, or future potential.
- Agency or consultancy experience preferred.

Physical Demands
