The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for checking the final output of digital images/data to ensure they have been created in accordance with the client requirements, existing brand rules and printer specifications.
This role is based remotely in one of the following locations :
- KL or Penang, Malaysia
- Bangkok, Thailand
What You’ll Do
- Adhere to all Standard Working Practices (SWP’s)
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Promote best practice and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Build strong positive working relationships with production resources
- Work to schedule to ensure agreed turnaround times, communicating to process owner if schedule is not achievable.
- Ensure artwork creation and amendments, reprographics and colour separation conform to Technical drawings, Master templates, Print trials, Client requirements, Brand rules, Printer specifications and Internal instruction
- Perform range-checks to ensure brand consistency throughout the product range
- Ensure adherence of data to printer specifications, prior to release to the printer.
What You Should Have
- Competency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Outlook, Word & Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team
- Printing Knowledge advantageous, but not essential
- Due to artwork requirements, Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese Language Capability is essential
