Introduction

We are recruiting a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Resourcer to support a Principal Consultant at a UK-based recruitment firm, specialising in the placement of exceptional talent across Private Equity, Investment Banking, and Corporate Development functions.

The Principal Consultant operates as part of a global headhunting team, covering US, EMEA, and APAC markets, and partners with leading financial institutions including bulge bracket banks, elite and independent advisory firms, private equity funds (buyout, growth, and venture), hedge funds, asset managers, and corporates ranging from global enterprises to high-growth startups.

This is a 100% remote role, working closely with a UK-based client while supporting international search mandates.

Duties & Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and other research tools

  • Conduct initial outreach to prospective candidates via email, LinkedIn, and phone

  • Clearly communicate role briefs and gauge candidate interest and suitability

  • Maintain professional, discreet, and timely communication with candidates

 

CRM & Data Management

  • Accurately create, update, and maintain candidate records on the CRM

  • Ensure candidates are correctly coded, tagged, and assigned by:

    • Sector (e.g. Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Development)

    • Geography (US, EMEA, APAC)

    • Seniority and functional focus

  • Log all candidate interactions, outreach activity, and responses consistently

  • Ensure CRM data integrity and compliance with internal processes

  •  

Pipeline & Consultant Support

  • Build and maintain talent pools for current and future mandates

  • Shortlist and present relevant candidate profiles to the Principal Consultant

  • Support live searches by tracking outreach progress and candidate feedback

  • Assist with scheduling calls, interviews, and follow-ups where required

Desired Experience & Qualification

Essential

  • Previous experience in recruitment resourcing, research, or talent acquisition

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with CRM systems and data accuracy

  • Familiarity with CRM/ATS platforms (Bullhorn)

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage priorities independently

  • Professional, discreet approach suited to senior-level and confidential searches

Desirable

  • Experience supporting recruitment in financial services, banking, private equity, or related sectors

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, search-driven or headhunting environment

Package & Remuneration

R350,000 – R450,000 per annum (CTC)
