Local Resource and Regional Platform Operation Manager is responsible for leading and integrating the local resources (permits and regulatory affairs) and platform management( administrative operation and government relations) for the company’s DC and infrastructure business in Latin America.
This position ensures that corporate operations, resource development, and government liaison activities are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and legal obligations across multiple Latin American countries.
The role requires a broad skill set covering policy advocacy, government relations, office administration, permitting, and community engagement

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Permit & License Management 
• Lead Full lifecycle management of local approvals, including 
Development Order 
Earthwork Permits 
Building Plan( BP) Approvals
Local Fire Safety submission and inspections 
Certificate of completion and compliance 
• Coordinate submission schedules with consultants, contractors,and internal stakeholders. 

Strategic Resource & Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Delivery teams to align resources and support new project development.
• Coordinate with government bodies and utility providers to secure infrastructure resources such as land, electricity, and connectivity.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications, public hearings, and community partnerships related to DC projects.
• Support sustainability initiatives and social impact programs aligned with corporate ESG goals.

Government Relations & Public Affairs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national government agencies to support the company’s DC and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and analyze regulatory, environmental, and energy policy developments in Latin America that may impact business operations.
• Advocate for favorable public policies, tax incentives, and regulatory frameworks supporting DC development.
• Manage company participation in industry associations and policy forums to enhance visibility and influence.
• Coordinate with communications and legal teams on public statements, policy submissions, and community outreach.

Platform Operations & Workplace Management
• Manage the company’s regional offices, ensuring functionality, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee office space planning, design, relocation, and workplace experience improvement projects.
• Ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance with corporate and local building standards.
• Supervise vendor performance, contracts, and service-level agreements for facilities and corporate services.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Direct administrative operations, including document control, travel coordination, and employee onboarding logistics.
• Support HR, Finance, and Project teams in implementing efficient workflows and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Develop and implement standardized policies and procedures to ensure consistent operational practices across all regional offices.
• Manage operational budgets, expense tracking, and office procurement to ensure cost control and transparency.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
• Proven track record in managing multi-country operations, public-sector engagement, and compliance in Latin America.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of Latin American government structures, permitting frameworks, and corporate compliance standards.
• Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management systems, and budget planning tools.
• Familiarity with workplace design, vendor management, and community engagement.
