Summary

The Sales Finance Operations Analyst is responsible for all aspects of sales incentive (rebate) programs, including: system maintenance, payouts, and reporting/performance tracking (including ad hoc variance analysis). Additionally, maintain base process and account pricing to ensure accuracy of customer billing and related items.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accrual definitions for sales incentives program within internal ERP systems
  • Analyze units and sales dollars performance, and manage accruals appropriately
  • Communicate with sales department to determine facts and payouts
  • Process credit memos against accruals, attain proper approvals, and generate SAP credit memos.
  • Reconcile accruals and expenditures with internal ERP system, and SAP payables system
  • Administer price changes in SAP to ensure correct invoicing by customer for all sales divisions; Consumer Replacement, TBS, OTR, OE, and Export while ensuring adherence to each division’s authority matrix and approval processes.
  • Administer and process Annual Program Pricing, Amendments and Special Business Memos (SBM) for all customers
  • Administer pricing approval process to ensure that each division’s authority matrix and approval process is adhered to
  • Maintain database of all customer pricing records, Amendments, SBM’s and approvals
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to Sales and Executive Management
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures

Knowledge and Skills

  • Great Communication Skills
  • Extensive data modeling experience
  • Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis request of varying size and scope

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree – BA or BS in Analytics and/or Finance field.
  • 1-5 years’ work experience in data analysis

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer.
  • Ability to repeat motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds
  • Must also be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or bend, including under tables and desks.
  • Handle or feel objects, tools or controls and other computer or office equipment
