This role is ideal for a goal-oriented, money-driven professional who enjoys building relationships, speaking to clients, following up consistently, and helping convert opportunities into active deals. You will work closely with senior sales staff and management to qualify leads, book appointments, maintain accurate CRM records, follow up on outstanding documents, and support the business development pipeline.

Experience in mortgage broking, property, finance, lending, banking, insurance, or a similar professional services environment will be highly advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with property developers, SME clients, brokers, referral partners, and prospective clients throughout Australia.

  • Source new development finance opportunities, second mortgage opportunities, and other relevant deal flow opportunities.

  • Conduct proactive outbound business development through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and other prospecting activities.

  • Manage inbound enquiries and convert suitable enquiries into qualified opportunities.

Deal Administration & Pipeline Support

  • Collect outstanding documents required for loan applications and deal progression.

  • Liaise with lenders regarding application progress, outstanding requirements, and deal status updates.

  • Keep detailed records of where each deal has been submitted and its current progress.

  • Escalate urgent matters to senior staff when required.

  • Assist with preparing Letters of Offer, Mandates, client correspondence, and documentation for electronic signing.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including all leads, applications, client interactions, follow-up schedules, and pipeline movements.

  • Manage and update the Broker Growth CRM, ensuring all opportunities are correctly recorded.

  • Prepare daily activity reports and pipeline updates for management.
