Job Title: Senior Accountant (LATAM)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant based in LATAM to manage accounting operations for a US-based real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, optimize cash flow, maintain compliance with US and LATAM accounting requirements, and support ownership with insightful financial analysis. This role also includes leadership responsibilities, overseeing the Accounting team and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver timely, accurate monthly financial statement packages for all US-based real estate entities.
Oversee invoicing for rent, utilities, insurance, taxes, and CAM fees to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Manage company-wide cash flow, ensuring prompt collection of tenant accounts receivable.
Prepare and present consolidated quarterly financial reports for ownership.
Develop lender and escrow reporting packages and ensure ongoing compliance with US and LATAM regulations.
Collaborate with external CPA firms on quarterly tax estimates and annual tax return preparation.
Supervise daily operations of the Accounting Department, maintaining efficiency and internal controls.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
Respond promptly to inquiries from internal stakeholders, tenants, lenders, and ownership.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
Knowledge of US GAAP, accounting regulations, and tax compliance.
Strong experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, and consolidated reporting.
Leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in accounting software; experience with real estate/property management accounting systems is a plus.
