What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Reconcile sales from online platforms (Shopify, Amazon Pay, Klarna, Paypal) with receipts and credit card statements.
  • Manage company credit card statement reconciliations and expense allocations.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and post all required journal entries timely.
  • Handle sales tax filings and income tax provisions.
  • Review and approve purchase registers and weekly check runs.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of comprehensive financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data to detect trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support internal control processes and policy implementation improvements.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years’ general accounting experience, preferably within the CPG Industry. 
  • Experienced in e-commerce platforms and accounting for public companies (SEC exposure a bonus).
  • Skilled with NetSuite and QuickBooks; adept in multi-entity closes.
  • Solid understanding of general ledger functions and month/year-end close procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Ready for direct interaction with top-tier decision makers.
