Senior Accountant, Corporate

Job Description

Empower Staffing is partnering with a high-performing organization to add a Senior Accountant to their Corporate Controller’s Group—a highly visible role supporting corporate accounting, financial consolidation, and SEC reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone coming out of Big 4 who wants to step into a dynamic, collaborative environment with strong exposure to leadership and complex accounting areas.

Responsibilities

Support key corporate accounting areas (e.g., goodwill, share-based comp, EPS, cash flow)

Play a critical role in the monthly close and consolidation process

Assist with 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings (prep, tie-outs, disclosures, XBRL review)

Perform analytics on financial results—identify trends, drivers, and insights for leadership

Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and more

Contribute to technical accounting research, memos, and special projects

Required Skills

Bachelor’s in Accounting

5–6+ years of experience, including public accounting

Strong knowledge of US GAAP

CPA required

Experience or exposure to SEC reporting is required

Advanced Excel + comfort learning systems like SAP, OneStream, BPC
