Responsibilities
Lead advanced configuration of multiple Workday modules, ensuring scalable, compliant, and integrated solutions.
Design system solutions that anticipate downstream impacts across HR processes, integrations, reporting, and security.
Act as project lead for HR technology initiatives, managing requirements, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
Partner with HR and business leaders to evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend system-enabled solutions.
Stay current on Workday releases and industry best practices, driving adoption of new features that add business value.
Collaborate with IT and external vendors on complex integrations and technical troubleshooting.
Mentor and provide guidance to HR Systems Analysts and HR team members, supporting skills growth and knowledge transfer.
Ensure documentation, testing protocols, and governance practices are maintained for system changes and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5–8+ years of HR systems experience with advanced, hands-on Workday configuration across multiple modules.
Demonstrated experience leading HR systems projects end-to-end.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to design solutions, not just execute tasks.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and consult with HR and business leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Pro certification in multiple modules or equivalent credentials.
Strong knowledge of integrations, security, and cross-system impacts.
Experience in vendor management and system evaluation/selection processes.
Familiarity with compliance requirements and HR data governance.
Experience mentoring peers or junior analysts.
Additional Physical Job Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $132,000 -$165,000

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington (WA), and Wisconsin.
