Job Description:

Summary

The Senior Manager Finance Manager reporting directly to the Director of DTS Finance. IT provides financial analysis and support for monthly close process and annual business plan to one of the Directors of Operations in the North East Region.


Essential Functions

  • Support in creating Failure Rate and Survival models for Vehicle components (e.g. Tires, Engine, Transmission, Brakes, etc.)

  • Consolidate, prepare, and analyze financial data to understand cause-and-effect relationships and identify root causes.

  • Data mining, predictive-modeling, and innovative use of statistical and quantitative knowledge.

  • Provide SAS or other programming support to Operational Analysis, Finance, and Asset Management team members.

  • Write SQL Server jobs, stored procedures, and SQL scripts to create, maintain, and analyze SQL Server data.

  • Analyze database contents.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain consistent processes for data quality control

  • Assists in understanding the cost parameters of the FMS business model including labor, running costs, and fixed costs among others.

  • Assist in monthly forecast of the main cost drivers, like running costs, depreciation, and interest, for the three main product lines in FMS North America.

  • Assist in developing statistical models for computing the company's operating cost at the vehicle and component level (e.g. Tires, Engine, Transmission, Brakes, etc.), terminal value of the vehicle, terminal life of the vehicle (Rental and Lease), and the optimal holding period for the vehicle.

  • Assist in developing forecasting models to predict Revenue, Operating and Fixed costs, and Disposals to assist Operational Analysis, Finance, and Asset Management in planning new business and developing the Fleet Management Solutions Business Plan.

  • Assist in presenting analysis results, operational data, and forecasts in written and verbal formats to senior leadership.

  • Exercise considerable latitude in the use of appropriate statistical methods in areas that can benefit from statistical analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, Required
  • Seven (7) years to Ten (10) years or more in Related experience in finance or accounting support role., Required
  • 5 years or more in Minimum of five years managing these combined functions (finance and accounting support functions to include financial analysis and planning, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing)., Required
  • Knowledge of MS Office Advanced, Required

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type:

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$120,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$135,000.00
