Mission

In your role as Senior Project Finance Manager, you play a key and fundamental role for Zelestra in Germany. You are responsible for the external financing of our large-scale renewable energy projects in Germany. You will work within a small team of dedicated colleagues and set the steps for scale up business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance deals for Solar, Wind and BESS projects.
• Develop and manage complex financial models to assess project viability, risks and returns.
• Oversee the preparation of financial documentation, including investment memoranda, for presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the due diligence process, working with legal, technical and environmental teams to ensure project feasibility and compliance.
• Negotiate terms with banks and financial institutions to secure funding for projects, including debt and equity financing.
• Monitor the financial performance of ongoing projects, identifying opportunities to optimize returns and manage risks.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to align financial strategies with project timelines and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes and innovations in the renewable energy finance sector.

Job Requirements

• Master´s degree in Finance, Economics, Renewable Energy or related fields.
• Proven experience in field of project finance, ideally with a focus on renewable energy (Solar and Wind).
• Proven experience in financial modelling and structuring complex deals.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with a track record of closing project finance transactions.
• Business fluent in German and English.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and lenders.
• Good relationship and network with German Banks.  
• Strong willingness to teamwork and collaborate.
• Passion to lead the World towards a clean energy future.
