About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Enterprise IT and Customer Enablement organization. This role will play a critical part in designing, building, and supporting Salesforce solutions that enable Sales, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to operate efficiently and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce technologist who thrives in fast-paced, enterprise environments, understands complex business processes, and can translate functional requirements into scalable, well-architected Salesforce solutions following platform best practices.
What you will do:
Salesforce Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and declarative tools
- Build and support enterprise-grade Salesforce functionality aligned with business processes across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations
- Develop scalable, maintainable solutions that respect Salesforce governor limits and performance constraints
- Apply Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented principles
Business & Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Analyze complex functional needs and recommend optimal Salesforce-based solutions
- Support CRM users by identifying root causes of issues and providing fixes, enhancements, or guidance
Integrations & Data Management
- Design and implement integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, handling JSON and XML payloads
- Support large data volumes, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Work with ETL processes and ensure data integrity across systems
DevOps, Quality & Delivery
- Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery teams, contributing to sprint planning, development, and testing
- Perform deployments using Salesforce CLI, VS Code, version control (Git / Bitbucket), and CI/CD pipelines
- Follow coding standards, participate in peer code reviews, and support test-driven development practices
- Provide post-go-live support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides
- Communicate technical decisions and architectural constraints clearly to cross-functional teams
What you bring:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and customizing Salesforce solutions
- Salesforce certifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II (required)
- Strong experience with:
- Apex, LWC, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL
- Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization
- REST/SOAP integrations and API development
- DevOps and deployment processes for Salesforce
- Solid understanding of:
- Object-oriented programming
- Data modeling and relational databases
- Salesforce limits, performance tuning, and best practices
- Experience working on enterprise or mid-market CRM implementations
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Nice if you have:
- Salesforce Administrator or JavaScript certifications
- Experience with Order Management Lightning and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Exposure to Tableau or analytics platforms
- Experience with automated API testing tools
- Background working in Agile/Scrum environments
