Role Overview

A confidential organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a mature, high‑performing engineering team. This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in solving complex technical challenges, contributes to system design decisions, and delivers reliable, scalable software with a high degree of autonomy. The role also includes opportunities to support team growth through mentorship and technical leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

Engineering & Delivery

  • Build, enhance, and maintain secure, efficient, and scalable software solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and production‑ready code aligned with established engineering standards
  • Participate in collaborative code reviews and contribute to shared technical ownership
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements across systems
  • Develop and execute unit tests and support broader testing efforts, including integration and regression testing
  • Contribute to reliable release processes, including automated builds and deployments
  • Assist with diagnosing and resolving production issues, including root‑cause analysis

System Design & Technical Contribution

  • Collaborate with peers to design and implement software components and services
  • Apply widely accepted design patterns and engineering best practices
  • Contribute to technical discussions related to security, resilience, performance, and scalability

Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Support and guide less‑experienced engineers as needed
  • Promote consistent development practices and knowledge sharing within the team

Continuous Improvement

  • Explore and introduce new tools, techniques, and ideas that improve product quality and team efficiency

  • Strong software development and engineering fundamentals
  • Solid problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Comfort operating as a senior contributor without daily supervision

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant technical certifications are beneficial but not required

Experience Profile

  • Approximately 6–9 years of relevant, hands‑on software engineering experience

Qualifications

Financial Service experience required as well as work authorization to work in the US.  Contract to hire opportunity. 

Snowflake, .NET or C#
