Staff Web Designer - LATAM

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Level Web Designer in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design, with expertise in Webflow and brand design. This role requires a creative mind, attention to detail, a keen understanding of marketing websites that convert leads, and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for web projects, from initial concept to final delivery
• Create visually stunning and user-friendly websites using Webflow
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines for clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, content creators, and project managers
• Conduct user research and incorporate findings into design decisions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and technologies
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices
• Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and rationale
• Contribute to the agency's overall design strategy and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of professional experience in web design
• Expert proficiency in Webflow
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of modern web design projects
• Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
• Expert proficiency with Figma
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Strong typography and color theory skills
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on web design
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Experience with animation and interactive design
• Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines
