What it's all about

The Team:
We believe product decisions should never be driven by instinct alone. They should be grounded in clarity, curiosity, and statistical truth. Our BI function sits at the heart of that belief, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Leadership to turn data into direction.

Here, analysts don’t just build dashboards. They shape strategy. They challenge assumptions. They protect the integrity of insights that guide millions of user interactions.

We’re building a culture where analytical rigor and business impact go hand in hand, where experimentation is disciplined, KPIs are trusted, and insights drive real growth. If you thrive in environments where standards are high, thinking is structured, and your voice influences product strategy, you’ll feel at home here.

Your Role:
As Team Lead for Product Analytics, you will own and elevate Product Analytics as a strategic discipline. This is not just a people management role, it’s a mandate to define how product decisions are informed, validated, and scaled.

You will build and lead a team of product-focused analysts embedded in our product domains, while remaining hands-on in the most critical analytical work. You’ll define the KPI framework, raise experimentation standards, and ensure that insights are not only statistically sound, but decision-ready.

Your success will be visible in trusted metrics, stronger experiments, fewer misinterpretations, and a high-performing analytics team that moves from reactive reporting to proactive impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and mentor a team of product analysts
  • Set clear expectations and high analytical standards
  • Provide direct feedback and actively manage performance
  • Build structured thinking and ownership within the team

Build the Product-Dedicated Analytics Model
  • Lead analysts dedicated to specific product areas while remaining structurally anchored in BI
  • Ensure close collaboration with Product Owners without compromising analytical independence
  • Represent Product Analytics in planning, prioritization, and review forums
  • Create a complementary analytical approach alongside Business BI
Stay Hands-On in Critical Product Analytics
  • Personally design and oversee complex A/B tests and experiments
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on activation, engagement, retention, and feature adoption
  • Write and review advanced SQL queries
  • Validate analytical logic before results influence product decisions
  • Act as the highest analytical authority within the Product domain
  • Lead high-impact investigations from hypothesis to business recommendation
Own KPI and Experimentation Governance
  • Design and govern the product KPI framework
  • Establish and enforce statistically rigorous experimentation standards
  • Define best practices for hypothesis formulation, segmentation strategy, power considerations, and interpretation
  • Educate product stakeholders on experimental validity and common pitfalls
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure robust tracking and data quality
Drive Strategic Product Impact
  • Translate product strategy into a structured analytics roadmap
  • Identify structural opportunities in activation, engagement, and retention
  • Act as a trusted analytical counterpart to product stakeholders and leadership
  • Move the team from reactive reporting to proactive insight generation
  • Evaluate and adopt modern and AI-assisted analytics approaches where they deliver measurable value

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Analytics within digital product environments

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience, including performance management and team development

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics workflows and automation tools

  • Proven ownership of KPI systems used at leadership level

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and evaluating statistically rigorous experiments

  • Deep understanding of statistical significance, bias, segmentation strategy, and experimentation pitfalls

  • Advanced SQL skills and confidence working directly with large, event-based datasets

  • Experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or similar platforms

  • Experience with experimentation or feature flag platforms such as Optimizely or comparable tools

  • Strong stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments

  • A mindset that balances analytical depth with business pragmatism

  • Experience working with Power BI

Nice If You Have:

  • Proficiency in Python for advanced analysis or experimentation support

  • Experience scaling analytics functions within growing product organizations

What You Can Expect On Board:

  • A strategic leadership role with clear ownership and visibility at decision-making level

  • The opportunity to define experimentation and KPI standards across Product

  • A culture that values rigor, structured thinking, and analytical integrity

  • Direct influence on product strategy, growth, and long-term business impact

  • Space to build and shape a high-performing analytics team

  • Collaboration with ambitious product and engineering partners who value data-driven decisions

  • Annual company summer getaway + team meetups across the EU

If you’re ready to lead with precision, raise the bar for experimentation, and build a Product Analytics function that sets the standard for clarity and impact, this is your opportunity.

Bring your analytical depth. Bring your leadership mindset. Help us ensure that every product decision is grounded in insight, not assumption, and shape the future of how we grow.
