Introduction

Monthly Pay - 1100-1300 USD

The Travel Agent plays a critical role in delivering seamless travel experiences. This position is responsible for quoting, booking, and issuing flights and travel insurance, while ensuring accuracy, profitability, and a high standard of operational excellence.

Working closely with the Travel Concierge and wider operations teams, this role ensures all travel arrangements are executed efficiently and customer arrival details are correctly managed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Flight & Travel Booking

  • Quote, book, and issue international flights using GDS systems (Amadeus)

  • Prepare and manage flight proposals aligned with customer requirements

  • Manage ticketing, reissues, cancellations, and fare rule communication

  • Ensure all bookings meet margin requirements and commercial targets

Travel Insurance

  • Issue travel insurance policies

  • Ensure accuracy of policy details and alignment with customer bookings

  • Manage discrepancies and communicate with internal teams when required

Operational Coordination

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within internal systems 

  • Update arrival information to support a smooth customer arrival experience

  • Collaborate closely with Travel Concierge and cross-functional teams

 

Customer & Supplier Management

  • Liaise with airlines, consolidators, and insurance providers

  • Provide expert airfare advice to internal teams

  • Support customer queries and operational requests where required

Daily Operations

  • Manage internal workflows including costing, ticketing, and insurance queues

  • Ensure all tasks, timelines, and documentation are completed accurately and on time

  • Monitor promotions, credits, and travel-related transactions

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a travel consultant or travel operations role - 2 years min

  • Strong knowledge of flight booking systems (Amadeus or similar GDS)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and pricing

  • Strong commercial awareness, including margin management

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously
