The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with a strong background in accounting and QuickBooks Online to support three of our clients. This is a remote, flexible role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and is passionate about improving processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain books for multiple entities using cash and accrual accounting methods
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate transaction coding
  • Generate and analyze P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements
  • Process payroll via Paychex, ADP, or Gusto; manage PTO, sick pay, and benefit deductions
  • Collaborate via Slack, manage documents in Hubdoc, and track time in QuickBooks Time
  • Help refine and document accounting processes
  • Write professional emails and communicate clearly with team members
  • Support construction industry-specific bookkeeping tasks (preferred but not required)


Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting and knowledge of GAAP
  • 10–15 years bookkeeping experience across multiple companies
  • 8–10 years experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO Certification required)
  • 5–7 years payroll processing experience
  • Experience in the construction industry (preferred)
  • Comfortable learning new tools (Gmail, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, curious, detail-oriented, and process-minded

Note: Approx. 10 hours/week; checking in 3 times per week during PST hours.
