The Role
For this role, you will be dedicated to supporting a North American luxury ecommerce brand that has been in business for nearly 20 years. The company is a market leader with strong growth, a well-established reputation, and a wide customer base across the U.S. and Canada.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business risks and opportunities, driving efficiency, and supporting strategic growth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, evaluate performance metrics, and leverage data and AI-powered tools to deliver actionable insights.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with logistics, production, supply chain, and operations teams to analyze cross-functional data and uncover insights.
- Support demand planning and inventory cycles, evaluating product performance and building purchasing plans.
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities in line with company goals.
- Lead and automate forecasting and reporting processes using advanced and AI-enabled tools.
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and analysis.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, recommending improvements.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for leadership on high-priority questions.
- Assess current workflows and propose automation or process improvements.
- Approach problems with an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership of solutions.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or FP&A professional.
- Advanced Excel (models, forecasting, automation); familiarity with BI tools or AI-powered analytics (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, ChatGPT) a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to turn data into insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience evaluating business performance metrics and linking them to strategy.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, North America–focused environment.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects at once.
