Description

The Global HR Operations Specialist supports the design, execution, and continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and programs across all businesses and regions. This role serves as a key link between regional HR teams, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure accurate data management, efficient HR workflows, and consistent administration of global benefits and compensation programs. The Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining HR data integrity, ensuring compliance with global and  local regulations, supporting total rewards initiatives, and optimizing HR technology (HRIS) capabilities to deliver a best-in-class employee experience. 


Requirements

HRIS & HR Data Management 

  • Maintain, audit, and update employee data in the HRIS to ensure accuracy and consistency across countries and entities. 
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements. 
  • Support configuration, testing, and rollout of new HRIS functionality (e.g., workflows, position management, reporting automation). 
  • Partner with Finance, IT and HR leaders on system integrations with payroll, benefits, and financial systems. 
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to HR teams globally. 
  • Assist in developing data governance standards and SOPs to ensure security and compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, LGPD, etc.). 

Compensation Operations 

  • Support global compensation programs including job evaluation, salary structure maintenance, and annual merit and bonus cycles. 
  • Assist in maintaining global job architecture and job code frameworks within the HRIS. 
  • Conduct data audits to ensure pay accuracy and alignment with compensation guidelines and pay equity standards.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Finance to prepare compensation files, upload templates, and validate payouts during key cycles.  Support benchmarking and market pricing projects by maintaining compensation data and  assisting with survey participation.
  • Collaborate with the Global HR Operations Leader to implement compensation process  improvements and automation tools.  

Benefits Administration 

  • Coordinate global benefits data exchange between HRIS and third-party vendors (medical, retirement, life/disability, wellness). 
  • Support benefits enrollment, renewals, and open enrollment processes, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Track and reconcile benefits eligibility, enrollment changes, and invoices in partnership with regional HR teams and Finance.
  •  Maintain accurate documentation of benefits programs and assist with global benefits harmonization projects. 


Global Process & Compliance 

  •  Support the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of standardized global HR processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, pay changes, promotions). 
  • Ensure compliance with global HR policies, audit requirements, and local employment regulations.
  • Participate in global HR projects including HR system implementation, vendor transitions, and policy harmonization efforts.
  • Maintain process documentation, training materials, and support guides to promote consistency and scalability. 

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or total rewards within a multi-location or global organization. 
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Paylocity).  
  • Understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll interfaces. 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones. 
  • Commitment to data integrity, confidentiality, and continuous process improvement. 
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
