The Opportunity

As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. Whether you’re based in Sydney and looking for a role close to home or located elsewhere in Australia and seeking a remote opportunity, you’ll be a valued member of our broader team. You'll work closely with and be mentored by our Partners, with a clear path to future leadership. Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
  • Offer support and training to junior team members

About You

  • 3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Available to work in the Kelly+Partners South-West Sydney office, or remotely if you are located outside of the Sydney region
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
