About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution — from preparing journal entries to defining and improving accounting policies.

You will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering high-quality accounting services, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture client relationships while collaborating with the delivery team to ensure optimal service delivery

  • Design and deliver exceptional accounting services as both a thinker and a doer

  • Prepare journal entries and support the development of accounting policies and procedures

  • Become proficient in multiple accounting platforms, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks Online

  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention measures across client accounts

  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement initiatives

  • Meet weekly billable hours targets while maintaining the highest quality standards

Core Accounting Responsibilities

  • Maintain charts of accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Process and review accounts payable, including accurate vendor setup and fraud prevention controls

  • Perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts

  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections

  • Prepare month-end closing entries with appropriate supporting documentation

  • Monitor budget variances and proactively communicate significant issues

  • Process client payroll in compliance with applicable regulations

  • Consistently meet billable hours goals

  • Uphold the highest standards of service quality and client satisfaction

Internal Responsibilities

  • Complete internal requirements such as time tracking, capacity planning, and participation in quarterly initiatives

  • Actively participate in the Brand Ambassador program, representing the company’s mission and values

  • Follow and uphold security best practices to protect client data and assets

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience

  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or multi-client environments

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly adapt to new accounting software platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team

  • Experience implementing and maintaining internal controls and fraud prevention practices
