(Senior) Accountant (m/f/x)

At Nitrado, you will be responsible for the accounting operations for Germany while working in an internationally operating, tech- and gaming-driven company with strong growth momentum. We are looking for a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with a high level of process and quality awareness, who enjoys taking ownership and driving topics forward pragmatically.
 This position is designed as a part-time role (approx. 24–32 hours per week) and is available immediately.

You are responsible for accounts receivable, including dunning, and support accounts payable during vacation cover (incoming invoices, shared inbox, payment processing).
You take ownership of account reconciliations and prepare key tax filings (e.g. VAT, OSS, EC Sales List / ZM, Z4).
In close collaboration with HR, you are responsible for the reconciliation of payroll accounts.
You support our Swiss entities in cooperation with the local tax advisor, including AR/AP postings, account reconciliations, and payroll-related topics.
You actively support the Finance team in monitoring and analyzing workflows, identify optimization potential, and contribute with a strong hands-on mindset.
From day one, you take ownership of your own projects and ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.

You have a strong command of DATEV and are able to independently post all types of business transactions.
You bring excellent knowledge of general accounting, in particular the application of German GAAP (HGB), preparation of annual financial statements, and the fundamentals of German tax law.
You have solid experience in posting and reconciling payroll entries and payroll accounts.
You ideally have 2 - 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
You are fluent in German and communicate confidently in written and spoken English.
You have experience working with modern tools such as Spendesk, Navan, or Bexio, as well as MS Office (especially Excel).
You are a reliable team player with a strong hands-on mentality.
