About the role

As part of our Accounting Partnerships team, the SMSF Accountant will manage their own portfolio of clients while providing responsive and tailored services to meet their needs.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• delivering tailored SMSF solutions to Accounting Partnership clients
• providing technical expertise & resolve complex SMSF matters
• managing end-to-end SMSF administration processes
• reviewing junior team members’ work/supporting workflow management
• compiling accurate financial reports and data analysis for clients
• supporting team operations & resource allocation

What we’re looking for

• Tertiary qualifications with proven SMSF accounting expertise
• Excellent client communication skills while maintaining fund compliance
• Proficiency with SMSF accounting software, ideally both Class and BGL
• Strong self-management and team coordination abilities

For the right candidate, these positions could be fully remote or hybrid, working from our Head Office in Maitland NSW or Brisbane CBD. Occasional travel to Maitland NSW is a requirement of the position. This is a remote position
