Staff Accountant

About the Role

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to support our Finance and Accounting function. In this role, you’ll support core accounting operations including month-end close, transaction processing, and inventory tracking, while helping ensure accurate financial reporting and strong financial operations across the organization.

This role is remote, based in the US, and requires U.S. work authorization.

What You’ll Do 

• Support core accounting operations including accounts payable, expense reimbursements, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger maintenance
• Perform month-end close activities such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Support billing and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review and customer payment tracking
• Assist with inventory tracking and reconciliation for hardware, including receipt of inventory, cost tracking, and inventory movement
• Support accounting for hardware-as-a-service arrangements, including inventory capitalization, cost recognition, and coordination with revenue recognition processes
• Communicate clearly with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting

What You Have

• 2+ years experience working in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a fast-paced or growing environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines
• Comfort working with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and financial data
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• A thoughtful, organized approach to accounting processes and documentation

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks, Rippling, NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, or similar systems
• Experience in a startup, Hardware-As-A-Service, or high-growth environment
• Exposure to month-end close, audits, or financial reporting processes
