Vice President of Finance

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead enterprise financial operations, reporting, and systems in a growing, multi-site organization. This role is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, internal controls, and financial systems, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, cash flow optimization, and scalable infrastructure.
The VP of Finance will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, clinical teams, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, drive performance, and enable growth—including M&A activity.
What You’ll Do
Enterprise Finance Leadership
- Own financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financials
- Provide financial insights and analyses to support strategic decisions
- Support mergers & acquisitions, including diligence and integration
- Manage liquidity, cash forecasting, and working capital
Accounts Receivable
- Oversee enterprise A/R performance, aging, and cash collections
- Partner with Insurance/RCM teams to improve cash acceleration and claim resolution
- Reconcile A/R between EHR/ERP systems and the general ledger
- Ensure revenue reporting accuracy and alignment across systems
Accounts Payable
- Lead the AP function, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments
- Oversee payments related to leases, seller notes, debt obligations, and recurring disbursements
- Manage sales and use tax filings
- Establish strong controls, approval workflows, and financial governance
Financial Systems & Reporting
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of accounting and financial systems
- Ensure integration between accounting, operational, payroll, and clinical systems
- Partner across HR, Operations, Supply Chain, and Clinical teams to develop automated KPIs and dashboards
- Drive system automation, reporting consistency, and data accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
- Proven experience overseeing accounting operations, AR, AP, and financial reporting
- Experience in healthcare, multi-site environments, or PE-backed organizations preferred
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle, working capital management, and financial systems
- Experience supporting M&A and scaling finance functions
- Hands-on leader with a strategic mindset and strong execution skills
